A report from Barbados - It was changed!
July Projects No Comments »Dear Family and Friends:
I am very excited to share with you about our wonderful week of World Changers yet I am also struggling with how to do so in a clear, concise way because we saw God do SO many things! We are giving Him so much praise today because He truly answered all of the prayers that were lifted up for this week.
We certainly give thanks to ALL the wonderful team members who worked SO hard to make this week happen. Four of the teams went into primary schools where they did recreation with the children and also did some things in the classroom. It really depended on what the teachers wanted or needed each day. We think this is VERY important because the children get acquainted with teenagers who have an active faith and a daily walk with God. Such great role models!!
In addition to working with children, several teams joined together to paint two buildings of Society Primary School - inside and out, plus the principal’s office! A giant task but they completed it!
That will be such a great testimony to the community for a LONG time! Two teams did walking evangelism and on Wednesday night led youth services in two local Baptist churches.
Everywhere this group was found - on the streets, in the schools or at the College - they were wonderful testimonies to who Jesus Christ is in their lives! They worked HARD all week and gave their absolute best!
At our final worship service together we got to praise God that the gospel was shared in Barbados 515 times, 150 individuals prayed to receive Christ and a mission offering was taken of $1,083.60!! All praise and glory to God for everything He did through His people!!
Blessings, Cindy
